Adam Lallana in Liverpool

Liverpool are set to complete the signing of Adam Lallana , Southampton accepted a £25 million bid for their playmaker.
Southampton have agreed to sell Lallana within 24 hours of selling Luke Shaw to Manchester United for an initial £27 million. Provided the deal goes through, Southampton will have sold all three of their England internationals this summer.
Adam Lallana will be Liverpool’s third transfer this summer following the arrival of Rickie Lambert from Southampton and the £9.75m signing of Emre Can from German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
Liverpool already had six members of the England World Cup squad – Steven Gerrard, Glen Johnson, Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge and Rickie Lambert.Brendan Rodgers is upgrading his squad this summer after finishing second in the Premier League last season and qualifying for the 2014-15 UEFA Champions League.

Argentine midfielder Bruno Zuculini to Manchester City

Manchester City are finalising a £3million move for Argentine midfielder Bruno Zuculini of Racing. 

The 21-year-old has flown to England for his medical. City are allowing Marcos Lopes, 18, to join Lille on loan for a season. 

City will also increase their efforts to sign Eliaquim Mangala from Porto even though Mehdi Benatia has made it clear he wants to leave Roma

City consider Benatia an alternative to France defender Mangala although both have expressed a preference to join Chelsea. 

Alvaro Negredo remains a target for Atletico Madrid who are convinced the player wants to leave City.

DONE DEAL: Man Utd signs Southampton star

The England left-back passed a medical in the north west yesterday and put pen to paper on five-year deal worth £100,000-a-week.He spent last night in Manchester before the club formally announces the transfer later today
It is the second capture made by the club in the space of 24 hours following Ander Herrera's arrival yesterday.
The signings of Herrera and Shaw will be a huge boost for United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, who has been under huge pressure to perform in the transfer market.

Departure of eleven players from Arsenal

Arsenal can confirm that 11 players will be leaving the club when their contracts officially expire on June 30.
Nicklas Bendtner and Ju Young Park come to the end of their contracts, while Kim Kallstrom and Emiliano Viviano’s loan spells are set to conclude.
Bacary Sagna, Lukasz Fabianski and Zak Ansah have completed permanent moves to Manchester City, Swansea City and Charlton Athletic respectively.
Meanwhile, academy players Chuks Aneke, Daniel Boateng, Zach Fagan and Leander Siemann also depart having reached the end of their current agreements.
The Gunners are expected to be active in the summer transfer market as they look to fill several of the gaps created by the exits, especially between the sticks, with two goalkeepers having moved on.

Ander Herrera seal a move to Manchester United

New manager Louis Van Gaal’s original £29m offer for the Spaniard was surprisingly rejected by the La Liga outfit, despite the fee matching the release clause within Herrera’s contract. But the club rejected United’s offer, the player himself will now look to pay the transfer fee with United then re-imbursing him for his troubles
Old Trafford bosses have handed Van Gaal a reported £150m transfer budget to bolster his squad for the upcoming season, and he is said to be confident that the deal for Herrera will eventually be secured.The midfielder has already completed his United medical and agreed to sign a four-year contract in Manchester.

Suarez Found Guilty

Fifa’s independent disciplinary committee has banned Luis Suárez from all football-related activity for four months after he was seen biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini. He has also been fined £66,000, will miss the rest of Uruguay’s World Cup campaign and the start of the domestic season.
Suárez defended himself on Uruguayan television after the incident, saying: “These situations happen on the pitch, we were both just inside the area, he struck me in the chest with his shoulder and he hit me in the eye as well.”
Chiellini, however, insists that Suárez knew exactly what he was doing and was dismayed that he was not sent off for his apparent actions.

Livermore completes Hull move

It was announced at the weekend that the two Premier League clubs had agreed an undisclosed fee for the one-cap England international, and Livermore has now signed a contract.

The 24-year-old, who enjoyed an impressive season on loan with the FA Cup finalists last term, said that he never had any hesitation in making the move permanent.

Uruguay’s Luis Suarez bit an opponent at the World Cup. Suarez, who earned a 10-match ban in 2013 for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic, bit Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini late into Uruguay’s final group game. Suarez also earned a seven-match ban in 2010 for biting a player in the Eredivisie....FIFA has banned players from the World Cup for misconduct before, with the longest such ban an eight-game suspension for Italy's Mauro Tossotti in 1994.Could FIFA impose a similar punishment in Suarez's case?
